Youth Ministry- Kings Dominion Trip
It's time for some summer fun!
Saturday, July 12th @ 8:30 AM - 11 PM
Join the Youth Ministry for their annual amusement park trip, this year to Kings Dominion, on Saturday, July 12th.
We will be embarking on a day of fun, leaving the church at 8:30am and departing from Kings Dominion at 9pm.
Tickets are $45 per person. *Includes Transportation and Ticket Entry You can pay electronically via Zelle or Cashapp and include names in the memo line or you can pay cash after the morning worship service in Room 205.

Please arrive at 8:00 AM sharp on Saturday, May 17th wearing your SBS t-shirt. T-shirts may be picked up immediately after the 10:00 AM Worship Service in Room 205 on May 4th and May 11th only. If you are not a member of GBC and you purchased a t-shirt, please make arrangements to have your t-shirt picked up on either May 4th or May 11th.

Sisters Building Sisters Community Service Project -
Sisters Building Sisters is providing support to Calvary Women’s Shelter.
Calvary offers vital services to women who are unhoused, as well as programs for women who are survivors of domestic violence, mental illness, and substance abuse. As a community service project, we are collecting Visa, Costco, and Giant gift cards of any denomination to support Calvary’s mission.
If you would like to donate a Visa, Costco, or Giant gift card to this worthy cause, please give your gift card donations to Deaconess Rose Briggs or Sister Angela Bowen. Collection continues through May 17th.

DMV Auto Alliance - Free Community Automotive Workshop

This weekend, the DMV Auto Alliance, Gethsemane Baptist Church, and The DMV Daily are collaborating to host a free Community Automotive Workshop.
The event will provide free classes to educate the community on proper car maintenance techniques, money-saving strategies, common car issue diagnosis, and useful tips. A question-and-answer session and a women's-only class addressing unique female experiences will also be offered. Additionally, attendees can enjoy a live DJ, free refreshments, and an exhibit of uniquely modified cars from the DMV.
