    Join the Women’s Day Choir on Sunday, May 18th.  Rehearsals will be held on May 8th @ 6:30 pm, May 10th @ 10:00 am and May 15th @ 6:30 pm.

  • GBC’s “Grace in the Garden”

    Every Tuesday @ 7:00 am, 12:00 pm and 7:00 pm

    GBC’s “Grace in the Garden” Corporate Prayer Sessions are hosted every Tuesday @ 7:00 am, 12:00 noon and 7:00 pm via conference call.  When the church prays together, powerful things begin to happen.

  • Sisters Building Sisters Community Service Project

    Collection begins today and continues through May 17th. 

    Sisters Building Sisters is providing support to Calvary Women’s Shelter. Calvary offers vital services to women who are unhoused, as well as programs for women who are survivors of domestic violence, mental illness, and substance abuse.

    As a community service project, we are collecting Visa, Costco, and Giant gift cards of any denomination to support Calvary’s mission. If you would like to donate a Visa, Costco, or Giant gift card to this worthy cause, please give your gift card donations to Deaconess Rose Briggs or Sister Angela Bowen.     510.12 Servant Leadership - The world needs servant leaders, people who love unconditionally, give of themselves sacrificially, and leave a legacy worth following. If each of us would choose to be a servant leader, we could change the effect of the generational dysfunctions that exists in our world today. This class will help students not only become the leaders Jesus created us to be--it will allow us to lead others to Him.

In the year 1912, on New Hampshire Avenue between Washington Circle and Eye Street, Northwest, Washington, DC, there stood, sandwiched between two modern and improved dwelling houses, a humble one-story frame building. This little building seemed unimportant and had attached to it no particular significance known to the general public.
